Welcome to an exhibition talk in Icelandic. The exhibition „Half a Century Through the Lens“ explores press photographer Gunnar V. Andrésson’s career, that lasted more than fifty years – from 1966 to 2017. Guests will join Gunnar as he talks about the photographes in the exhibition and how they came about.

Are you learning Icelandic? Reykjavík City Museum offers a guided tour at Árbær Open Air Museum for people learning Icelandic. The tour will take place on Saturday, 10 May, from 15:00 to 16:00. Katleen Abbeel will provide the tour in easy-to-understand Icelandic.

Reykjavík City Museum offers a guided tour in Japanese on Sunday, 18 May, at 14:00 at the Reykjavík Maritime Museum. Kuna Yoon will lead the tour.

The Reykjavík City Museum invites you to a guided tour in Serbian on Sunday, 18 May, at 15:00 at the Árbær Open Air Museum. The tour will be led by Mladen Živanović, a teacher at the Serbian school.
