“Through my work, I seek to understand my roots and belonging by exploring places connected to my family history and the romantic memory I have of the locations I use in my imagery. I seek to answer that which lies behind a sentimental gaze and its effect on the storytelling.

The exhibition focuses on man and nature via the photographic image.

“In the works, I have explored the borderland between man, nature and the scene as a concept of expression, where the character tries to find his place in relation to the delimited nature outside.”

Peter Stridsberg lives and works in Lund, Sweden. He received a Master’s degree in Fine arts from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts in 2019. He has curated solo exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions.
