Are you normal? Photo exhibition

Are You Normal? is an exhibition that will be opened in the Pier Hall of the Reykjavík Maritime Museum on 24 April to celebrate the Children's Culture Festival. Are you normal? is a project where teenagers reflect on what it is to be normal. The project is about stereotypes and how constricting they can be. The teenagers learn to recognize stereotypes and the importance of challenging them. Aren't fat people sexy? Are gays always feminine? Should we feel sorry for people with disabilities? Can older people make out? Are mental illnesses terrible? The exhibition celebrates diversity and inclusivity. It is open from 10 to 17 every day until 7 May. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome!
