For Cod's Sake is a new exhibition at the Reykjavik Maritime Museum about the so called Cod Wars.
The Cod Wars were a series of confrontations between Iceland and Britain over fishing rights in the North Atlantic during the years 1958-1976. Each of the disputes ended with Iceland's victory.
The exhibition is the result of work carried out by students studying on the Cultural Heritage, Museums and Exhibitions course, which is part of the interdisciplinary programme of Applied Studies in Culture and Communications at the University of Iceland.
