Viðey Island
Island trip on your own: Saturday, 25 February and Sunday, 26 February
Sailing to Viðey Island is an excellent way to spend time with friends and family during the winter holidays. The cruise takes a few minutes and is a fun start to a brisk day on Viðey Island. On the island, many interesting places are worth visiting. There are beaches, hills, caves, works of art, birdlife and centuries-old houses. You get a map of the island at the ticket office, and you can find the way to all these places there.
If you want to go on a beach trip, it's a good idea to check what time the tide is. This can be done by looking at a flood table online. Remember to dress well.
