Hula Hoop Magic

Hula Hoop magic will be offered Sunday 24 July at Árbær Open Air Museum, when Húlladúllan Unnur María Máney Bergsveinsdóttir will visit the museum and teach visitors various tricks with hula hoops.

The programme starts at 14 with a short family hula entertainment followed by Húlladúllan working with participants, performing and teaching some fun yet simple hula hoop tricks. Participants can choose from more than 100 hula hoops to play with.
Up in the loft at the original Árbær farmhouse building tasty Icelandic ‘lummur’ pancakes will be cooked as the blacksmith hammers the iron at the smithy. In Þingholtsstræti house a goldsmith will be working.
The event programme is from 14:00-17:00, but the museum is open from 10:00-17:00.
Admission is free for children, people with disabilities, and holders of the cultural card and the city card.
